When we first met Sonny Moore we were floored by his humility. You see, Sonny may be a newcomer to the Electronic Dance Music scene, but he’s certainly no stranger to the music business. He’s been touring since the age of sixteen as the front man for the band ‘From First to Last’. We were greeted by Sonny backstage at the Gramercy Theatre, his debut set in NYC under the moniker Skrillex. We jammed out backstage to a few of his unreleased tunes, ten minutes after our initial handshake. We instantly bonded and realized that we all shared the same passion for our crafts through our respective mediums. This common goal to proliferate genuine art has kept us in communication with Sonny and his team.
We’re currently working on a documentary piece for Sonny, chronicling his rise in the EDM ranks as Skrillex. It’s coming together very organically the message behind it will hopefully inspire budding artists to stay true to themselves and their beliefs.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of his brand and aesthetic. Our future collaborations with Skrillex will soon see light, so get ready!
