The Electro Wars Aftermath

Now that the film has been out on the webz for a week, I thought a post was in order. I can’t even begin to describe how elated I am with all this positive feedback we’ve been receiving. I’d like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for watching the film, even those who claim they could not stomach the first few minutes. Truth is most of you took ninety minutes of your time, depending on your internet connection, to watch something we created with... Read More

Datsik ft. Smash Gordon at the Highline Ballroom

Friday, April 22nd: the line was practically a block long in length, girls in neon headbands, wayfarers, and short shorts… I knew I had finally made it to the Highline Ballroom. After linking up with Carmine, Jason, Datsik, Smash Gordon, Dieselboy and a few others, we quickly scurried into the side entrance before any fans were able to acknowledge what was going on. As Jason, Carmine and Datsik approached the venue, I witnessed a group of girls asked if they were going... Read More

Coachella Day One

Our first day at Coachella was pretty eventful. Sonny (Skrillex) killed it, as per usual. Dropped some new bangers for the fans. Can’t wait for the new Moombahton tracks he’s got cooking… A lot of surprises backstage as well. Got to hang with Usher, Pharell, Chromeo, A-trak, Afrojack, JFK from Mstrkrft, and a slew of other talented cats that I could only dream of meeting at one point. We’re truly blessed for this amazing opportunity to work with all these... Read More

Miami Music Week Review PT.II

Carlton Cox For those of you keeping score at home, Thursday belonged to Dubstep. Friday belonged to Moombahton, and Saturday was all about the actual “Ultra Music Festival”, with sick sets from Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, and DeadMau5 closing out the show. The following are some stand out moments from night one: - Afrojack, on his game, dropping some new gems in his set, such as “Doing It Right” - A cruise ship doing donuts in the water,... Read More

Nine 2 Five Debut Performance At Europa, Brooklyn

Our very own Carmine Rizzo AKA: Nine 2 Five, made his debut at Europa Night Club this past Friday. He performed for a crowd of two-hundred strong. Nine 2 Five is a rapper who is fed up with working for the “man” and vents his frustrations through heavy basslines, via Dubstep. He’s currently working on his debut Mixtape “This Ones For The Puppets”, available in June. Nine 2 Five – Ass Raped The Game Tweet  Read More

The Electro Wars Streaming On Pitchfork

It’s official! The Electro Wars documentary will be streaming on Pitchfork TV April 22 – April 27. The highly anticipated documentary, which is the first of its kind, will finally be available for the world to see. After tossing around different ideas, we found a temporal home with Pitchfork, at least until we can figure out who will “officially” distribute the film. The version that will stream on the site is the director’s cut and in all likelihood... Read More

Miami Music Week Review Pt.1

Ultra Music Week 2011 had to be the most exhilarating, non-stop action filled extravaganza I’ve ever been a part of. Below is our interview with Ed Banger founder Pedro Winter AKA: Busy P. The extravaganza, for us at least, kicked off Thursday at around 4:00 p.m., when we checked out an “always ridiculous” Skrillex set over at the W hotel. Skrillex at W Hotel Carmine Rizzo Jason Ano with Kia Rahimian Mr. Vega, Kid Cedek, EtcEtc, We figured that the only fitting... Read More
